PURPOSE:To favorably dismantle an existing pipeline. CONSTITUTION:An existing pipeline 100 is surrounded by sheaths 3, 6. The natural ground 200 outside of the existing pipeline 100 is excavated by a cutter 13, and the sheaths 3, 6 are advanced. A boom 23 and an arm 25 are extended from a revolving member 21 installed behind the existing pipeline 100, and a core removing device 34 is moved into the pipeline 100. A joint bolt of a segment 101a is removed by the core removing device 34, which is then moved to outside the pipeline 100. Inside of the existing pipeline 100, a working truck 50 is moved, and the segment 101a and secondary covering 102 are pressed and ruptured by a covering rupture device 70. The ruptured segment 101a and secondary covering 102 are grasped and conveyed by a catch fork 30. Thereby interference of the core removing device 34, etc., with the covering rupture device 70, etc., can be avoided.
