PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition for cosmetic puff, etc., containing a specific silicone compound, powdery azobisisobutylonitrile and organic peroxide, capable of providing fine and uniform cell structure, having excellent handle and cushioning property. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition for foam formation capable of providing a foam having fine and uniform cell structure, extremely excellent handle, proper hardness and good cushioning properties and useful for cosmetic, developing roller, toner carrying roller, transfer roller. etc., is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. silicone rubber compound mainly consisting of a diorganopolysiloxane (e.g. methylvinylsilicone) with (B) 0.5-10 pts.wt. powdery azobisisobutylonitrile having 5-75mum average particle diameter prepared by crushing azobisisobutylo-nitrile with a crusher and (C) 0.05-5 pts.wt. organic peroxide (e.g. benzoylperoxide/dicumylperoxide mixture) and kneading the blend using a mixing roll.
