Summary:PURPOSE:To surely perform page feed without damaging a page, generating lap-feed and skipping the page in a suction type page turning-over device sucking the page of booklet manuscript to move the same to perform page feed. CONSTITUTION:The page B1 to be turned over of a booklet manuscript B is sucked by a suction device 21 and, when the page becomes almost vertical to the booklet manuscript B, the movement of the suction device is stopped and a lap-feed preventing member 3 having a columnar shape is moved to the boundary line part of the page of the booklet manuscript B and the suction device 21 is moved along the lap-feed preventing member 3 to curve the page without damaging the same to separate the page subjected to lap-feed to turn over only the page desired to be turned over.
