Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a precipitate separator enhanced in the separation treatment capacity of a precipitate and not generating the clogging of a precipitate discharge port. CONSTITUTION:At least the lower part of a separation tank 11 is formed into an inverted conical shape and a precipitate discharge port 16 is provided to the lower end of the separation tank and a supernatant liquid emitting port 21 is provided to the upper end part of said tank. A vortex generator 13 is provided in the vicinity of the upper end part of the tank and a supply port 12 of a liquid to be treated is provided to the intermediate part between the vortex generator and a discharge port.
