Summary:PURPOSE:To compensate the temperature fluctuation of a phase, as for the timing system of an optical transmission module. CONSTITUTION:A phase shifter 3, temperature detecting circuit 6, and control circuit 5 are adopted for the phase adjustment of a timing system, and the phase of the phase shifter is controlled according to the temperature detected by the temperature detecting circuit. Therefore, the phase fluctuation of the timing system due to the temperature fluctuation can be reduced, so that the deterioration of a code error ratio accompanied with the temperature fluctuation can be prevented.
