Summary:PURPOSE:To increase recording density. CONSTITUTION:Plural reflection layers having signal pits 2, 5, 8 for separate pieces of information are constituted of dyestuff films 3, 6, 9 and the signals of the respective reflection layers are read out by the reflected light beams of light beams 11, 12, 13 having the wavelengths varying from each other. The dyestuff films on the incident side of light are constituted of the dyestuff to allow the transmission of the light for reading out the other dyestuff films on the side opposite therefrom. The optical recording medium is produced by repeating the operations of forming the dyestuff films on a substrate 1 having the signal pits, placing a UV curing resin on a metallic mold having the other signal pits, pressing the surface having the dyestuff films of the substrate thereto to cure the resin, parting the metallic mold and further forming the other dyestuff films on the signal pits.
