Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the reverse charging of batteries by detecting the voltage value of each battery individually, and providing a plurality of voltage detecting elements and a switching element which is turned off by the output of the detected signal from any one of the voltage detecting elements. CONSTITUTION:Each voltage detecting element D1-D3 is set beforehand to 1.0V being the voltage of last-stage capacity of batteries Ba1-Ba3 consumed, as a specified voltage for detecting consumption. And when all the voltages of the batteries Ba1-Ba3 are 1.0V or higher, the potential of the output terminal of each voltage detecting element D1-D3 is a low level and the output potential of an OR-gate OR is a low level too. Accordingly, power is supplied from each battery Ba1-Ba3 to an LSI1 through a switching transistor Q keeping an ON state and normal operation is continued. Next, when any one of the batteries becomes consumed and its voltage value lowers down to 1.0V the voltage detecting element detects this, the potential of the output terminal becomes a high level, and a reverse charging loop is opened.
