Summary:PURPOSE:To permit the continuation of safety operating condition even after returning from the condition of instantaneous service interruption by a method wherein a signal that safety operation is to be continued is transmitted reversely from a remote controller to a controller when the instantaneous service interruption and returning from the same are caused during the safety operation of a burner. CONSTITUTION:A controller 30 transmits to and stores into a remote controller 40 data, stored in the controller, at every times when the data are generated and/or renewed. The remote controller 40 confirms at first that data, transmitted from the controller 30 and retained until that time in spite of the returning from the instantaneous service interruption after the generation of the instantaneous service interruption, are perfect. Thereafter, a signal to put a load power supply 46 ON is outputted from a load power supply ON/OFF control terminal 41, then, all data are transmitted reversely to the controller 3. According to this method, danger that the burner is rushed into igniting operation by mistake can be avoided.
