PURPOSE:To obtain the thawing equipment having a simple structure and excellent in efficiency by installing finned radiating panels for thawing divided into plural parts and holizontally set in hollow receiving frames which are arranged parallel, and a lift to adjust the distance of the frames. CONSTITUTION:In a large scale thawing equipment used for thawing materials to be thawed such as food materials and suitable for thawing in a large scale, especially in factories, etc., thawing vessels 2 having upper and lower finned radiating panels 5 and 6, which hold and thaw materials to be thawed D in contact state and arranged in a upper and lower pair of hollow receiving frames 3 and 4 kept horizontally and are in the state devided into plural parts and fin parts 5b and 6b of which are placed outside and horizontally, are installed. Plural thawing vessels are vertically arranged at parallel intervals and a lift C is installed to close or separate one of the hollow receiving frame 3 in each thawing wessel 2 to or from the other one 4 in a lump, thus the materials to be thawed are thawed efficiently by the simple structure.
