Summary:PURPOSE:To abort a backup circuit to keep a setting condition set to fulfill each function of the automatic answering telephone set and to save trouble of resetting. CONSTITUTION:A signal conversion circuit 15 converts the setting condition stored in an internal RAM 9 and the result is dubbed onto a tape 5. The content of the internal RAM 9 is erased due to, a power failure, but when a power supply circuit 12 detects the occurrence of the restoration of power failure, the setting condition dubbed on the tape 5 is read by the internal RAM 9. Thus, backup by a battery is not required and trouble of resetting after power restoration is saved.
