Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a film having a mol.wt. high enough for practical use and excellent in tensile strength and thermal stability. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. molten crystalline polyester having a number-average mol.wt. of 5,000 or higher and prepd. by reacting ethylene glycol with succinic acid is reacted with 0.1-5 pts.wt. diisocyanate above the m.p. of the polyester to give a polyester having a number-average mol.wt. of 10,000 or higher and at least two urethane linkages in the molecule, which is formed into a film. |
