Summary:PURPOSE:To uniformly heat and cool coiling material to be heated, winding metal strip, etc., by injecting gas and to improve heat transferring efficiency and the treating capacity. CONSTITUTION:In inner part of a furnace body 1 constructed with heat insulating wall, the coiling material to be heated is supported so as to become the posture having almost horizontal position of the center shaft, and also one pair of nozzle groups 14, 14 composed of plural injecting holes 14a inclining the injecting direction to circular direction of this coiling material, are arranged as mutually facing to both end faces of the coiling material so as to inject circular flow having concentric-state as this coiling material from the nozzle groups 14, 14.
