Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a toner supplying roller and to stably supply toner by providing a shielding member opening/closing an opening part, on the opening part between a toner cartridge and a developing tank. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with a developing device 1 provided with a developer cartridge 2 and the toner cartridge 3 having a toner replenishing roller, on the upper part of the developing tank 4, and the toner inside the developing tank 4 is recovered by rotating the developing device 1. At this time, the shielding member 9 opening/closing the opening part 14 by interlocking to the rotational motion of the developing device 1, is provided on the opening part 14 between the toner cartridge 3 including the toner replenishing roller and the developing tank 4. Therefore, the developer can be recovered while holding the state in which the developing device 1 is set in a device main body, and further, without damaging the toner replenishing roller. Thus, simple recovery work capable of preventing the deterioration of the toner replenishing roller can be realized, and simultaneously, the toner can be stably supplied.
