Summary:PURPOSE:To automatically and quantitatively evaluate whether the designed structure of a certain product can easily be manufactured or not based upon design information formed by means of a CAD or the like in order to improve the productivity of the product, to automatically provide the index of improvement and to efficiently retrieve and provide an example of improvement to be referred to the improvement based upon quantitatively evaluated results. CONSTITUTION:This automatic production efficiency evaluation system is provided with a CAD processor 21, a computer system for evaluating the easiness of formation such as assembling efficiency and workability providing an example of improvement, a processing routine for evaluating assembling order, a processing routine for determining optimum assembling order, an assembling method, a working method, etc., based upon the calculated results of the assembling method, the working method, etc., a processing routine for providing the example of improvement, a routine for outputting results, and an improvement example data base for automatically storing evaluated results and design information. Consequently the evaluation of manufacturing efficiency can be automated or semi-automated, the easy assembly of products and parts can sharply be improved and the effects of soft work including working efficiency and economical efficiency can sharply be improved.
