Summary:PURPOSE:To improve a connecting operability of a relay tester to a power protection relay unit to be tested. CONSTITUTION:A testing unit 20 has an output terminal, 21 for outputting a testing power and an input terminal for receiving a response output from a power protection relay unit 23 to be tested. A matrix switching circuit 28 switches to connect a first connecting terminal group 30 connected with the terminal 21 of the unit 20 and an input terminal 22, and a second connecting terminal group 32 connected with a test connecting unit 24 for connecting the unit 23 to be tested. A controller 35 switches to connect the circuit 28. Accordingly, even if a wiring condition is different at each type of the relay unit to be tested, the switching circuit is switched to be controlled by a controller to easily connect the testing unit to the relay unit to be tested in a short time. There is no fear of an erroneous connection.
