Summary:PURPOSE:To confirm an error state to be generated during an initializing even when a function is incomplete because a service processor is in an initializing processing in the initializing diagnostic system of the computer system confirming the normal operation of the initializing processing performed by the service processor when turning on the system. CONSTITUTION:An initializing processing part 20 and an analysis processing part 22 are provided on a service processor 12. The prescribed processing code indicating the initializing processing state is generated to be displayed on a segment display part 16 of a control panel 14. A processing code as well as a timer counter value are stored in a storage part 18 when starting the initializing or changing the state of initializing. At the end of the initializing processing, the processing code stored in the storage part 18 and the timer counter value are compared with the prescribed reference value. Accordingly, whether or not the initializing processing is normally performed is analyzed to output and display the analysis result.
