Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a small thin type optical pick-up by diffusing light through a flat concave lens and non-polarizing beam splitter connected to each other for formation. CONSTITUTION:A light source 1 is constructed with a light receiving optical system for receiving and guiding light from a laser beam source or other light source, a parallel small diameter beam 2 from the light source 1 enters a non- polarizing beam diffusion device 10 of cubic body through a flat concave lens 3, and a small diameter beam 2 polarized by the non-polarization beam diffusion device 10 is deflected by 90 deg. and enters an objective lens 6 as diffused light 5. Also the diffused light 5 restricted by the objective lens 6 forms an image of minute beam spot 7 on an optical disk 8. In this case, the flat concave lens 3 and a non-polarization beam splitter 10 are connected to each other through a translucent adhesive agent 11 to form an integral part, and a non- polarization 90 deg.C deflection beam diffusion device 12 is constructed with the flat concave lens 3 and the non-polarization 90 deg.C deflection beam diffusion device 12. Thus beam diffusion is made simultaneously with non-polarization deflection. |
