Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a thin keyboard to facilitate the operation by eliminating corner parts of an enclosure round the keyboard to provide slopes. CONSTITUTION:A device main body 1 consists of a main body case 1a incorporating a floppy disk drive 2, a keyboard 3, and a control board and an open/ close case 1b having liquid crystal 4 in the display part, and they are coupled freely openably and closably. Slopes 5 are provided in peripheral parts of key tops on the keyboard 3. Thus, an operator easily operates any key without contact between his fingers and the enclosure at the time of key depression for keyboard input.
