Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the title resin industrially and advantageously by reacting a thermosetting resin composition consisting of a polycyclic iminoether, a vinyl ester compound, an ethylenic unsaturated monomer, a specific compound, an acidic catalyst and a radical catalyst under heating. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. total amounts of (A) a compound shown by formula I [n is 2-4; R is n-functional hydrocarbon residue (may be interrupted or substituted with atom except carbon or group containing atom except carbon); Z is direct bond or group shown by formula II; Ra to Rf are H, methyl, propyl, etc.; when n is 2, R can show direct bond] and (B) a vinyl ester compound are reacted with (C) 0-400 pts.wt. ethylenic unsaturated monomer, (D) <1.4 equivalent based on the component A of a compound containing at least 2 equivalent one or more groups of carboxy, hydroxy, amino, etc., in the molecule, (E) an acidic catalyst and (F) a radical catalyst under heating to give the objective resin.
