Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent moisture rise in circulating gas and to stationarily use the exhaust gas as the circulating gas for a pulverized drying mill by arranging branch pipe in the exhaust gas line in a blast furnace blowing fine powdered coal drying device, circulatingly using the exhaust gas and providing a dehumidifier on the way of the branch pipe. CONSTITUTION:Wet coal 1 as raw material for the blast furnace blowing powdered coal, is supplied to the pulverized drying mill 3. In a hot stove 4, B gas (blast furnace gas) 5a and C gas (coke furnace gas) 5 are burnt with air 6 for combustion to generate hot gas and after adjusting this temp. with cooling gas, this is supplied to the pulverized drying mill 3. The wet coal is dried while being pulverized in the pulverized drying mill 3 and discharged from a discharging tube 7. The dried powdered coal is collected with a bag filter 42 and stored into a powdered coal storing hopper 43. The branch pipe 21 branching a part or all of the exhaust gas in a blast furnace blowing powdered coal drying device from the exhaust gas line 7 and this is guided to the dehumidifier 23. In the dehumidifier 23, the moisture contained in the wet coal as the raw material charged into the pulverized drying mill 3 is removed and this is led to outlet side of the hot stove 4 and the temp. of hot blast supplied from the hot stove 4 is adjusted.
