PURPOSE:To confirm the suitability of a quality of a coal ash for shipment and to make unmanned control through day and night continuously available by automatically sampling a coal ash generated from the outlet of electrostatic precipitater to the inlet of the coal ash silo and automatically analyzing the ash with the analytical instruments. CONSTITUTION:The coal ash is sampled automatically from the outlets of the electrostatic precipitaters 1, 1a to the inlets of the silos 3, 4, and this coal ash is packed automatically into a capsule and pneumatically transferred to an analysis room 25 and executing automatic analysis by the analytical instruments 17, 18 and whether coal ash in electrostatic precipitaters 1, 1a or relaying tank 2 is sent to the recovery silo 4 or the waste ash silo 3 is judged. From the result of the property analysis analyzed automatically by analytical instruments 17, 18, the quality of the coal ash for shipment is adjusted by adjusting the condition of the classification treatment by the coal ash classifier 7 in the recovery silo 4. Additionally, referring to the analytical result obtained by automatic analysis using analytical instruments 17, 18, the suitability of the quality of the coal ash in a fine powder silo 6 is ascertained before shipment.
