Summary: | PURPOSE:To simplify the process by forming a number of insulating bases on one parent base, and forming electrodes and trigger means on the insulating bases at once. CONSTITUTION:Three insulating bases 10 are formed on one parent base, and dividing channels 59, 59 are formed by laser beams on the boundary of each insulating base 10. One-side surfaces of the insulating bases 10 are coated with a paste containing fine powder of glass and baked to form a glass coating layer 28, and a coat of a paste containing Cu is applied on the glass coating layer 28 in end parts 12, 14 followed by baking to form discharging electrodes 16, 18. Further, conductive linear pieces 22, 24 are formed on the glass coating layer 28 by laser CVD with a part of the electrodes 16, 18 as a seed, terminals are connected to the electrodes 16, 18 by soldering, and each insulating base 10 is separated along the dividing channels 59, 59. Thus, the manufacturing process can be simplified. |
