Summary:PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity of determination by bringing an adsorbent into contact with a sample within a sample cup, and separating a non-adsorbed material into a filtrate cup through a filtering film so as to remove the same, and then causing pyrodiene adsorbed to react with a detection reagent so as to determine the quantity of the pyrodiene. CONSTITUTION:A water suspension of a solid adsorbent formed when a compound containing aliphatic nitrogen atoms combines with a base is put in the sample cup 2 of a centrifugation type ultrafiltration unit. A sample solution is put in the sample cup 2 and a lid 4 is put over the cup 2 and the sample solution is brought into contact with the solid adsorbent. While permeation is accelerated by centrifugation, a non-adsorbed material is separated to a filtrate cup 1 through a filtering film 3 and removed. Pyrodiene adsorbed to the solid adsorbent is made to react with a detection reagent in the sample cup 2 so as to determine the quantity of the pyrodiene.
