Summary: | PURPOSE:To seal desired solid ingredients in a piece of ice by a method wherein raw material water is supplied continuously and stopped temporarily on the way of ice glowing to freeze solid ingredients on the surface of the ice, and after that, water supply is started again. CONSTITUTION:When a piece of ice grows up to half the specified thickness, a water circulation path 20 is closed, and gold foils T, T,... are spread over the surface of the ice. A mesh plate 50 is used for spreading the gold foils T, T,... When the gold foils T, T,... are suspended in water and scooped up by the mesh plate 50, the gold foils T, T,... are uniformly distributed on the mesh plate 50. Then, the mesh plate 50 is turned upside down and gently struck against side flanges 31c, so that the gold foils T, T,... can be uniformly spread over the surface of the ice in an ice tray 31 and frozen on the surface of the ice when water freezes. After that, when water supply is restarted, the ice begins to grow again with the gold foils T, T,... sealed in it. |
