Summary:PURPOSE:To increase the strength as an integrated tensile body by powder coating continuous fiber for reinforcing with powdery thermoplastic resin, and then melting the thermoplastic resin, making the resin run through a molding die together with the continuous fiber for reinforcing and cooling and solidifying. CONSTITUTION:Continuous fiber 10 for reinforcing such as carbon fiber or glass fiber is introduced to a powder coating device 11, and the outer surface of continuous fiber for reinforcing 10 is static coated with thermoplastic resin power 12 such as, for example, polyamide or polyethylene filled is said coating device 11. Then the fiber is introduced to a heating tank 15, and then the desired thermal structure is formed by making the fiber run through a molding die 14, and the fiber is run through a cooling tank 15 to be cooled and solidified to manufacture a tensile body 16. Then, the tensile body 16 is taken off by a take-off roller 17 and wound on a bobbin 18. Thus the continuous fiber for reinforcing is powder coated with powdery thermoplastic resin by, for example, static coating, and then thermoplastic resin is melted, cooled and solidified together with the continuous fiber for reinforcing by making the same run through the die to have the resin infiltrated inside, and a tensile body of highly integrated strength is manufactured.
