PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition containing a 3-substituted phenylpyrazole derivative and other compounds as the active components, having a safe and excellent herbicidal effect to crops while showing a wide herbicidal spectrum in a dosage smaller than that in separate use. CONSTITUTION:With 1 pts.wt. 3-Substituted phenylpyrazole derivative represented by the formula (R is lower alkyl; X is halogen) as a herbicide, 0.01-100 pts.wt. sulfonylurea-based compound (e.g. methurflonmethyl in general name) and 1-5000 pts.wt. phenylurea-based compound (e.g. isoproturon in general name) or phenoxy fatty acid-based compound (e.g. MCP in general name) are blended as the active components. The resultant composition can control undesirable weeds to growth of upland farming crops, especially wheat and applied at the initial stage of development of the upland farming crops and weeds or at the growing stage thereof. The quantity of the herbicidal drug applied is 0.1-6000g/ha on active component base.
