Summary:PURPOSE:To perform a desired draining without causing a reduction in output of an engine in high speed area by opening a chamber to the atmosphere to discharge rainwater to the outside in case of small engine output or only in an operation area requiring no supercharged pressure. CONSTITUTION:At the time of rainy weather, rainwater is also entered into a chamber 14 when a running wind is taken through an intake duct 12, and the rainwater touches the rear side inner wall surface 14a by inertial force and flows downward by its dead weight, and is stayed in a sump part 20. When the throttle valve opening is large, no opening signal is transmitted from a control device 24, and an opening and closing valve 22 remains closed. When the throttle valve opening becomes less than a determined value by throttle operation, this is detected by a sensor 25, a determined control signal is transmitted to the opening and closing valve 22 from the control device 24, and the opening and closing valve 22 is opened to discharge the rainwater stayed in the sump part 20 through a drain pipe 21.
