Summary:PURPOSE:To stabilize combustion and simplify the structure of a burner by installing one or a plurality of gas whirling flow orifices and gas axial flow orifices to one of an inner side ejector and an outer side ejector or both ejectors. CONSTITUTION:A burner 1 comprises a combustion chamber 6, a substantially cylinder- shaped inner side ejector 2, which ejects either fuel gas or oxidizing gas into the combustion chamber, a substantially cylinder-shaped outer side ejector 3, which surrounds the inner side ejector 2 coaxially, an inner gas flow passage 4, an outer gas flow passage 5, and an igniter 7 laid out in the inlet section of the combustion chamber 6. The main end of the inner side ejector 2 is provided with a whirling flow orifice 2a in a tangential direction to an inner nozzle hole on the cylinder wall. In the center of the main end board an axial flow orifice 2b is installed in a longitudinal direction. The outer side ejector 3 is provided with a whirling flow orifice 3a in a tangential direction to the inside of an inner nozzle hole in a circular direction on the cylinder wall and an axial flow orifice 3b in its radial direction, which are arranged to adjoin each other. The whirling power of the gas ejected from the outer side ejector 3 into the combustion chamber 6 can be set arbitrarily by changing the whole opening area ratio of the whirling flow orifice 3a of the outer side ejector 3 and the axial flow orifice 3b.
