PURPOSE:To keep a power balance at every half-wave, to reduce the distortion of an AC voltage waveform and to restrain noises to an external power-supply line by supplying one of half-wave rectification power to a fixing heater controlling part and supplying the other to a DC controlling PSU at the half-wave rectification time of a 200V system power supply. CONSTITUTION:When the AC power supply 1 is inputted by a power-supply switch SW1, the power supply noise is removed by a noise removing filter 3 and the AC power-supply voltage is impressed on a rectification circuit 5. At this time, when a 100V system power-supply voltage is detected by a voltage detecting part 4, a changeover switch SW2 is closed and the rectification circuit 5 is actuated as a full-wave rectification circuit. Meanwhile, when the 200V system power-supply voltage is detected by the voltage detecting part 4, the changeover switch SW2 is opened and the rectification circuit 5 is actuated as the half-wave rectification circuit. The voltage to be impressed on the fixing heater controlling part 6 and the DC controlling part PSU 7 is applied every half-cycle by the half-wave rectified voltage, and the supplying power is reduced by half. And the fixing heater controlling part and the DC controlling PSU whose power value is almost near the value at the time of the full-wave rectification by inputting the 100V system and whose rating is the same can be used both as the 100V system and the 200V system.
