Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent difference in brightness even when compressing video by storing data corresponding to the pedestal position of digital data after A/D conversion and making this stored data the pedestal data for fitting at the time of compression. CONSTITUTION:A Y signal inputted to an A/D conversion circuit 4 is converted to digital data with a sampling frequency fs (fs=14.3MHz), supplied to an ED processing part. This digital data latches an SYNC signal obtained by inputted to an FE 11 to be synchronizingly separated and a horizontal pulse with an AFC, etc., by a latch pulse corresponding to a pedestal position obtained by delay and inputs this to a synthetic circuit 6-5-1 as the pedestal data. The circuit 6-5-1 synthesizes the pedestal data, side data, and compression data according to a control signal from a control circuit 8. Thus, there is no difference in the brightness between double scanning conversion and compression conversion and the sense of incompatibility is eliminated. |
