Summary:PURPOSE:To improve anti-insulation deterioration characteristic by adding tin dioxide and/or tin compound that forms tin dioxide at a high temperature to at least one among a switch insulator, a fixed contact, and a moving contact. CONSTITUTION:Tin dioxide and/or tin compound that forms tin dioxide at a high temperature, e.g. at no less than approximately 450 deg.C in atmosphere, preferably no less than approximately 500 deg.C, for example, metastannic acid, metallic tin, or dimethyl tin dichloride and so on, are properly added to at least one member among a switch insulator 1, a fixed contact 2, and a moving contact 4, according to the insulator and the contact. The amount of tin dioxide and so on is not specially defined, however, it is normally 0.05-3weight% when converted into tin dioxide, preferably 0.1-1.0weight%, and an estimated effect is hard to obtain when it is not more than 0.1weight%, while it is superfluous when it is not less than 3.0weight%, whereas the estimated effect is not increased in this case. Anti-insulation deterioration characteristic can thus be improved.
