Summary:PURPOSE:To perform a mechanical leveling work requiring no laying work of rail by leveling concrete to an end of a traveling beam, bringing up a leg on the other end to move the traveling beam by one pitch, and again grounding the leg to repeat the leveling. CONSTITUTION:Legs 12, 12 are provided on both end lower parts of the beam part of a traveling beam 10, and stably grounded on a concrete placing surface C by washer plates 12a, 12a on their lower ends. The jacks 24, 24 of a rail 20 are shortened to ground the legs 12, 12 of the fraveling beam 10, and lifting jacks 32, 32 are regulated so as to hold the normal height and posture in a leveling start point. A concrete leveling part 30 is driven to level concrete to one end of the traveling beam 10, and the legs 12, 12 are brought up at the other end to move the traveling beam 10 by one pitch by an upper roller 13. Then, the legs 12, 12 are again grounded, and leveling is repeated. Thus, laying work of rail is not required, and laborsaving effect in mechanical leveling work can be improved.
