Summary:PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution by using a support plate having a number of holes, and engaging the coated parts of light emitting diodes in the holes of the support plate to support and fix them. CONSTITUTION:Using a support plate 3 having a number of holes, the coated parts of light emitting diodes are engaged in the holes respectively to support them. For example, the outer diameter of the coated part is set at 5mm, while the diameter of the hole is set at 4.5mm, and the light emitting diodes 1 are fitted in, where the support plate 3 is of polycarbonate and has a plate thickness of 2mm and a heat resistance at 120 deg.C. The light emitting diodes 1 are connected with each other by soldering adjacent terminals 1b directly. The support of the light emitting diodes can thus be of a simple constitution.
