Summary:PURPOSE:To increase the brightness as a whole by providing a dela-prism facing to light emitting diodes engaged and supported at a support plate. CONSTITUTION:A support plate 3 is fixed by support members 7A, 7B standing at an installation table 8, and the coated parts of light emitting diodes 1 are engaged and supported in the holes numerously formed in the plate. A transparent plate, or a transparent acrylic plate 6, for example, is disposed on the counter-installation table side of the support plate 3, and a dela-prism 9 is disposed facing the acrylic plate 6 on the side of the support plate 3. The disposition density of the light emissing diodes 1 is thus increased, the transparent acrylic plate 6 as the surface of a display device can be seen without seeing the light emitting diodes 1 inside, and scattering can be prevented by the dela- prism 9 if there is a dispersion in the directions of the light emitting diodes 1, thereby the brightness can be increased as a whole.
