Summary: | PURPOSE:To shorten the delay time of rotation rise immediately after rapid engine acceleration manipulation. CONSTITUTION:A fly-wheel 6 is connected to a compressor wheel 4 through a clutch 5 to be mutual linked. Rotational speed of the compressor wheel 4 is detected by a turbo rotational speed sensor 7, and the rotational speed of the crank shaft 13 of an engine 12 is detected by an engine rotational speed sensor 8, so that the clutch 5 is ON/OFF controlled by a clutch control device 9. In the case when a detected turbo rotational speed rises to a set high rotational speed H, the clutch 5 is disconnected, so that the fly-wheel 6 is left in high speed rotation by its inertia. Then, in the case when the rate of rotation rise (P) of a detected engine rotational speed (R) in a low-speed rotation region (M) has risen a set rate of rotation rise (a), the clutch 5 is connected, so that rotational speed of the compressor wheel 4 is raised by inertia force of the fly-wheel 6. |
