Summary:PURPOSE:To enable mass production and cost reduction of manufacture, restrain the number of temporalily set member such as scaffold, reduce high place work, so as to enable safe work, reduction in construction and construction period, in the manufacturing method of archlike truss and construction of dome. CONSTITUTION:A truss 18 having upper and lower chord members 10, 12 and a lattice member 14 is assembled such that at least a part of the member 12 can be reduced to a specified length in the axial direction and a tension cable 16 is slidably set on the member 12, and further the extendable length of the member is set. The cable 16 is subjected to tension from one side or both sides of the truss 18 to make the member 12 short to make the truss curved in an arch for forming an arch like truss of which curvature and sizes can be changed.
