Summary:PURPOSE:To provide manufacture of a compressor excellent in sound insulation and soundproof effects. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 1 is provided with a mechanism in it and a closed housing 5 to which a low pressure pipe 2 and a delivery pipe 6 are provided. It is provided in cases 8 and 9 which are provided with holes 10 and 11 and notches 14, respectively, through which a suction pipe 2 and the delivery pipe 6 and the legs 13 of the compressor 1 are projected, respectively, and can be divided into pieces. A soundproof material 7 is filled into clearances between the closed housing 5 and the cases 8 and 9, and then the cases 8 and 9 are removed.
