CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of a phase compensating digital. filert 19 of a focus control system is switched with a command of a CPU 24 between the active end inactive states of the tracking control. Then the characteristic of the filter 19 secured in an inactive state of the tracking control is set so as to attain 8 low gain intersecting point frequency of the focus control in comparison with an active state of the tracking control.
