Summary:PURPOSE:To strengthen strong magnetic powder particles and provide mechanically strong shape-anisotropic soft-magnetic alloy powder and its production. CONSTITUTION:Shape-anisotropic soft-magnetic powder is composed of strong magnetic powder particles which contain Fe and Si as major ingredients and the surface of which is covered with titanium oxide film. The shape-anisotropic soft-magnetic powder is produced by mixing the 0.5-5.0wt.% of alkoxide composite, which contains a titanium element, with the strong magnetic powder particles whose major ingredients are Fe and Si, decomposing and oxidizing the alkoxide compound at 300-800 deg.C.
