Summary:PURPOSE:To easily manufacture an ornamental chain by joining annular bodies of twisted wire where core material is coated with heterogeneous skin material to make a chain body and giving an annual ring-shaped cut figures on the surface of the wire. CONSTITUTION:The twisted wire 4 is made of the wire 3 where the outer peripheral surface of core material 1 such as wire or tube is coated with skin material 2 different from this core material and the chain body 5 is formed by joining many annular bodies of the twisted wire 4. Then, the outer surface of the wire 3 in the annular body 5 is cut to make an annual ring-shaped cut figures 6 on the surface. In this way, the chain having the annual ring-shaped cut figures pattern made up by the twisted wire can be manufactured in a simple process.
