Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a control method showing, a remarkably excellent control effect on harmful organisms belonging to Homopetra, especially planthoppers, leafhoppers, aphids and/or aleyrodidaes. CONSTITUTION:By using a drug containing a 4-substituted-2-chlorophenoxy- propylpyrazole derivative represented by the formula (R is H, F or Cl; X is O or CH2) or in addition thereto, an additive/and/or a carrier in an effective amount of 0.001-500g per are, preferably 0.1-500g per are on the above-mentioned compound base in general while generally adjusting the concentration to 0.0001-1000ppm in the case of diluting an emulsion, a wettable powder, a floable drug, etc., with water and applying it to harmful organisms (e.g. planthoppers, leafhoppers, aphids or aleyrodidaes) belonging to Homopetra, habitats thereof and/or crops injured thereby, the above-mentioned harmful organisms can be effectively controlled.
