PURPOSE:To effectively distribute and supply the instruction for the parallel execution control by simplifying the configuration of an instruction distribution processor used for a parallel processor of a super-scaler system. CONSTITUTION:An instruction distribution processor distributes and supplies the instructions for control of parallel execution of a parallel processor of a super-scaler system having plural pipelines having such a configuration that can carry out in parallel N pieces of instructions at most (N>1). Then an instruction pointer having the bit width equivalent to the number of instructions to be carried out in parallel is provided together with a 1st arithmetic circuit 11 which produces the output signals in the number equal to the instructions from the output signal of the instruction pointer and at least one or more 1st input signals accordant with the number of instructions, and a 2nd arithmetic circuit 12 which produces a signal to update the contents of the instruction pointer from the output signal of the circuit 11 and at least two or more 2nd input signals and outputs this produced signal to the instruction pointer.
