Summary:PURPOSE:To assist the speedy handling of a decrease in measurement accuracy by comparing an image of a body at specific time with images stored in a 1st storage part and detecting variation in the installation angle of an image pickup device by an installation angle detection part. CONSTITUTION:An image signal obtained by the image pickup device 1 is processed by a coordinate acquisition part 3 to obtain coordinate values in the image of the body to be measured. Further, a sight line acquisition part 4 refers to conditions regarding the installation position of the device 1, etc., from a 2nd storage part 5 so as to determine the line of sight from the device 1 to the body. Then the body position is detected 6 from the determined line of sight to obtain a final measurement result. An image signal obtained by a conversion part 2, on the other hand, is compared 8 with images which is stored in a 1st storage 7 and checked up. Consequently, when a difference between the images due to variation in the installation angle of the device 1 is recognized, the quantity of the variation is used and an installation angle resetting part 9 resets the installation angle of the device 1 which is stored 5 newly by using the quantity of variation.
