Summary:PURPOSE:To make it possible to repair the broken part of a resin mold and prolong the service life of a slurry casting mold. CONSTITUTION:When a broken part 10 such as crack, chap or the like develops in the porous layer 11 of a slip casting mold, a recessed part 13 is formed by largely cut away the broken part 10 so as to fill up the recessed part 13 by porous block 1, which is prepared by solidifying resin such as epoxy resin or the like separately, and remove the portion projected from the recessed part 13 of the porous block 1 in order to make the filled up porous block flush with the existing porous layer 11. The water passing through the porous block 1, transferred from the side of the block 1 to the existing porous layer 11 and is smoothly discharged through the existing hollow path 16 outside the slurry casting mold.
