Summary:PURPOSE:To perform a job for setting an E-shaped snap ring and vice versa so efficiently with small force. CONSTITUTION:This setter is provided with a takeout mechanism which takes each of plural E-shaped snap rings one by one out of a cartridge set up in the vertical direction and supplies an discharge part 6 with it. The E-shaped snap ring taken out of this takeout mechanism is engaged with a tip part of a pair of levers 7a constituting an expansion mechanism 7, and with an expanding button 8 drawn downward, a roller 14 is moved to a ramp 7b. In consequence, the paired levers 7a move outward with each other, thus the E- shaped snap ring 3 is opened wide.
