Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a coating film excellent in scratching resistance, acid resistance, chipping resistance and durability by applying and melting a thermosetting acrylic resin powder coating and then applying a clear coating essentially comprising two kinds of resins containing a specified amt. of carboxyl group, epoxy group and hydroxyl group in one molecule and an amino resin thereon. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting acrylic resin powder coating is applied on the surface to be coated, molten or cured to form a coating film, on which a clear coating of org. solvent dilution type is applied. This clear coating essentially consists of two kinds of resins (e.g. acrylic resin) containing a specified amt. of carboxyl group, epoxy group and hydroxyl group in one molecule, and amino resin. Thereby, the obtd. coating film has good appearance and excellent scratching resistance, acid resistance, chipping resistance and durability. |
