Summary: | PURPOSE:To protect a sensor from a static pressure and excessively high pressure and reduce the expansion of an enclosed liquid so as to reduce the size and cost of a pressure difference transmitter by enclosing a filler to which a prescribed compressive strain is given around supporting blocks forming a pair of sensor pressure chambers. CONSTITUTION:A pair of pressure receiving diaphragms 21 and 22 receive a high and low measurement pressures which are led to both sides of a pressure sensitive diaphragm 29 through communicative holes 35 and 36, communicative tubes 39 and 40, and communicative holes 39 and 40. The displacement of the diaphragm 29 corresponding to the pressure difference between the high and low pressures is converted into an electric signal by utilizing a change in resistance, change in capacitance against an electrode, etc., caused by a strain and the electric signal is measured as the pressure difference. The static pressure caused by the measurement pressures acts to separate a pair of supporting blocks 32 and 33 from each other, but, since a filler 42 which has a high volume compressibility and to which a prescribed compressive strain is given is enclosed between the outer periphery of the blocks 32 and 33 and a capsule 25, the deformation of the blocks 32 and 33 is suppressed to a small level and, in addition, no error is produced. |
