Summary:PURPOSE:To stabilize widning condition to a moulding jig, and a healthy superconducting twisted wire having a non-circular cross section having no crossing patrts by reducing a tension fluctuation of the superconducting wire. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting wire 13 pulled from a supply bobbin 19 having a brake in a twister 17 is sent through an eyeboard 21 to be twisted on a molding jig 23 having a non-circular cross section to manufacture a superconducting twisted wire 11 of a non-circuilar cross section, where the superconducting wire 13 is sent through a dancer roller 35 in a passag from the supply bobbin 19 to the eyeboard 21 so as to absorb a tension fluctuation when it is wound around the moulding jeg 23.
