Summary:PURPOSE:To make it possible to decrease the generation of vibrations and noises and to process measured data quickly by controlling a one-dimensional photodetector at the part of a reaction container at an equal speed, and storing the data detected with the photodetector in a buffer. CONSTITUTION:A control means 4 processes the signal of the intensity of transmitted light through each reaction container 1A which is detected with a one- dimensional CCD sensor 10 and outputs the two-dimensional display data of the agglutinated pattern of blood in the container 1A. A stage 11 having the sensor 10 is controlled at an equal speed based on a timing-signal output 5. An instruction is imparted to a CCD driver so that the sensor signal is stored in a buffer 20 when the stage 11 reaches the predetermined measuring position of the part of the container 1A. The CCD driver stores the newest measured data into the buffer 20 through an A/D converter 10A. The means 4 reads only the data stored in the buffer 20. Thus, the minimum required data can be received into the means 4 with respect to the enormous measured data detected with the sensor 10, and the quick signal processing of the data can be achieved.
