Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent a memory from being suppressed by a large displaying compiler, to shorten processing time, to reduce labor for the formation of displaying expression data, and to remove the generation of errors in data by using the same file for both the display and operation of each expression. CONSTITUTION:This numerical expression processor is provided with storing means 3, 11 for storing an expression by the semantic structure of a binary tree so that the appearance order and operation order of the expression along its arrangement are matched with that of elements (terms, operators) in the expression concerned, input means 9, 10 for inputting the edited contents of the expression and editing means 22 (23) for editing the semantic structure so as to hold the matching even after edition in accordance with the inputted contents.
